This unusual brooch comes from an up-scale estate and was purchased in the late 80"s from Nordstrom's Department Store. The colors are vibrant, incorporating red, purple, cobalt blue and green shades in a folded fan design edged with a bright gold tone. The center features a round swirled purple plastic stone surrounded by a detailed gold tone edging. It is signed in script, JENNY c/1988, on the back of the brooch which measures 2 1/2". This "Paperwear" piece was designed and created by hand in a mother-daughter studio in northern Virginia. Each one is unique. This particular brooch comes in its original Nordstrom box with the Paperwear certificate. It is in pristine condition.
