I have just received another Elephant Walk set signed ELIZABETH TAYLOR FOR AVON. The first set I was fortunate to acquire was sold not too long ago and I am delighted to present this one that comes with the original boxes. Words cannot adequately describe the splendor of this dynamite demi by ELIZABETH TAYLOR for AVON from the "Elephant Walk Collection." The elephant brooch, designed in a 22K gold plated metal, is adorned with scads of dazzling faux diamonds. As befits a Royal elephant, an open-work Royal blanket accented by two golden tassels covers his back. Gorgeous sapphire blue glass strands, representing water, dangle from beneath the elephant and his curved, raised trunk holds glowing blue cabochons representing drops of water that he is throwing upon his back. Four golden tassels hang from his feet, further reinforcing his Royal status. He measures 4 1/2" long, 2 1/2" wide and is in mint condition. The clip earrings, also designed in a 22K gold plate, feature the elephant's face and come with cushioned comfort pads. Brilliant faux diamonds cover the ears and top of his head, beautiful twinkling sapphire rhinestones define the eyes and his golden trunk holds a raised deep blue glass stone. Hanging sapphire glass strands, representing the same water theme as the brooch, hang from beneath each elephant's face. The earrings measure 3" in length, 1 1/8" in width and are also in mint condition. All pieces are stamped with a circle within which are the words, ELIZABETH TAYLOR and AVON. A graceful E in script lettering sits in the center of the circle. This exceptional demi is becoming ever more difficult to find. It will only become more desirable in the years to come.
